About David S. Dixon
I grew up working for my father’s residential construction company over the summer and on school vacations. I greatly enjoyed construction work and was steeped in the culture of always delivering a quality project on time. After graduating high school, I entered Yale University where I graduated with dual degrees in Environmental Studies and History, while also playing football for four years.
Continuing as part of the family business post-graduation, I knew that construction was still my passion. In an effort to broaden my knowledge and experience, I transitioned to the commercial sector in 1998 where I worked as a field engineer and superintendent on large scale public projects.
In 2000, I transitioned yet again to the private sector, where I completed a 20-year career as Project Manager and Principal for a commercial construction company, with a focus on the corporate interiors market. My work can be viewed in a number of banks, private equity firms, luxury fitness facilities and the Ritz Carlton. My team and I focused on large-scale renovations, new build-outs and luxury residential work in downtown Boston.
In 2020, I made the decision to shift my focus back to my original passion for residential building projects. My focus on effectively serving clients and my drive for perfection are all satisfied with this new direction. I am excited to explore new opportunities with your family!
